Recording on the new album has finally come to an end. After one year in and out of the studio, the 3rd LP from The Tomatoes has been recorded and mixed, and sent off to be mastered. A release date will be announced soon.

After a year of hard labor, The Tomatoes are putting the finishing touches on their new album this month. A specific release date has not been set, but the new LP will be ready for mass consumption by early fall 2008.

"Vendetta," the first single from The Tomatoes upcoming LP, will be released exclusively on the new compilation cd from WTUL 91.5, Tulane University college radio. The compilation will be available at a WTUL-hosted cd release party on Saturday April 19th at the Howlin' Wolf in New Orleans. The Tomatoes are scheduled to perform at 10pm; other local acts to follow. All proceeds go to benefit the station. For more information please visit: www.myspace.com/wtul.
